Help us deliver strong, consistent returns for our shareholders and employees while empowering individuals to build and protect their dreams.This role is a permanent full-time role based at our Collins St office in Melbourne CBD.What you'll doBuild pricing rates and algorithms into the pricing engineDesign test cases and execute to ensure that all prices sent to customers are accurate and in line with promises madeDevelop and maintain relationships with colleagues, Product Managers, underwriting and actuarialWork with Sr. Advisor/Analyst to develop, recommend and implement effective pricing strategies to achieve financial and business objectivesAssist in the preparation of portfolio business cases with impact analysis and recommendations for key business stakeholdersUnderstand business requirements and system constraints to design pricing solutionsIn-depth analysis of internal and external dataAs directed support and implement all assigned pricing initiatives/activitiesCompleting ad-hoc analysis requests to solve business problemsSupport Strata Rate Reviews & analysisWhat you'll bringStrong quantitative, analytical, business acumen and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced project-based environment with multiple prioritiesEffective communication, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skillsInsurance industry experience desirable (1-3+ years)Strong software skills preferred (e.g. SAS, SQL, Excel)What we can offer youCompetitive Salary: Enjoy a salary that reflects your expertise and contribution.Hybrid Work Flexibility: Work from our Melbourne office or the comfort of your home with our hybrid arrangements.Flexible Leave Options: Benefit from industry-leading parental leave (20 weeks paid), unlimited emergency response leave, and military service leave.Exclusive Discounts: Access exclusive offers from over 400 of Australia's largest retailers, including Myer, David Jones, Coles, and Woolworths.Recognition Programs: Participate in extensive reward and recognition initiatives.Career Development: Invest in your future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Community Impact: Give back through payroll giving, donation matching, and paid volunteer leave.At Suncorp, we are committed to building futures and protecting what matters.
