About the opportunity At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Cleaner, you'll create cherished moments each day.
You will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facility, ensuring the well-being and comfort of elderly residents.
General responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
Ensure the Aged Care home is cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routines and infection control guidelines.

To thrive in this role, you will have: Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential) You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.
Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
