Direct Support Workers - Aged Care Work 1:1 with our aged care clients in their own homes.
Shifts available surrounding the Beenleigh, Logan area
Open to experience or those entering the industry - training provided.

Your contribution: Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and personal hygiene.Administer medications.Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry, or meal preparation.Assist clients between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.Community engagement, such as attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, or other social or recreational activities of their choice.About you: Looking for a change from aged care facilities and have the opportunity to build one-to-one rapport with your aged care clients.Great communicators dedicated to providing the best service for every person.Even better listeners who can work autonomously, as well as under direction and within a team environment.Calm and confident in all different environments and understand the importance of professional boundaries.Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (highly desirable).Can provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clients.Believe in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and courage.Hold an Australian Open Driver's License and full comprehensive car insurance.Have the capacity to travel to clients' homes.Why Join Us: An hourly rate based on your industry-related experience and qualifications.Minimum casual hourly rate starting at $32.62/hr at Level 1.1.Time to build effective relationships with your aged care clients.Industry-leading training provided by health professionals to all employees.Additional penalty rates for night and weekend shifts.Salary packaging benefits for permanent part-time employees.Flexibility to support your lifestyle and commitments.Support and continued professional development.Before you commence, you will need: Current First Aid and CPR certificates.A Blue Card (Working with Children Card).An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card).Australian Open Driver's License and full comprehensive car insurance.A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system.CPL is happy to assist in obtaining these necessary checks if you are successful.
