What's on offer: Initial 12-month fixed term contract (likelihood of extension)Based in Brisbane's CBDStarting annual base salary $130,000 plus 12.75% superannuationFlexible working arrangement 50/50Collaborative and engaged workplace and team environment.Free Citytrain travel to and from work and access to other free or discounted SEQ rail travelEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) providing employees with holistic and contemporary health and wellbeing programs.About the role: As a Senior Solutions Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting Queensland Rail's HR functions by analysing, reviewing, and documenting processes.
You will collaborate with business units, manage stakeholders, and coordinate with solution teams to effectively achieve targeted outcomes.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include: Advising on potential solutions to enhance current practices that are cost-effective, consistent, and integrated.Scoping, designing, and implementing system solutions through stakeholder engagement to meet business needs.Developing and executing test management plans for user acceptance testing and defect management of People Systems to ensure alignment with project, enterprise, and business objectives before signoff and implementation.Collaborating with internal and external IT teams/vendors to create workflow documentation, configure systems, manage requirements, maintain process models and maps, participate in user testing, and provide post-deployment support for Queensland Rail's people systems.Contributing to change management efforts associated with business process re-engineering by assisting in the development and delivery of briefings to a diverse range of stakeholders.We are looking for a proactive and organised individual who is confident in their abilities and adept at managing systems, yet equally skilled in building strong relationships with people.
This candidate should be open to learning and eager to grow, demonstrating a willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
