Help your clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Adelaide on a full-time or part-time basisIf you are passionate about delivering excellent customer care and making a difference in people's lives, this is the place for you.
Help your clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and workWe build better lives through work and health.As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:Working within various insurance schemes, including Motor Accident Schemes, Worker's Compensation and DVAAssisting and shadowing the rehab consulting team undertaking Worksite, Functional, Ergonomic, Equipment and Home ADL AssessmentsReport writing and other administrative tasksDesigning, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees return to the workforceLiaising with clients, medical practitioners, insurers and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all partiesProviding Ad Hoc Support to a multi-disciplinary team of Rehabilitation Consultants to assist clients in recovering from injuryQualificationsCurrently enrolled in Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy, with the ability to obtain AHPRA registration as an OT upon graduation (final year applicants preferred, but all OT Students will be considered)Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and driver's licence is essential)Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsDetermination to consistently provide a high level of customer serviceA keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your timeAdditional InformationWhat we offer you:Truly flexible working, in the community, from home and the office – you set your scheduleLearn and be mentored from a multi-award-winning teamMultiple career pathways and professional development opportunities – 90% of our leadership team have been promoted from withinGenerous financial incentives program to reward you for your impactPurchase additional annual leavePaid parental leaveOpportunities to work in over 80 locations in AustraliaAdditional employer benefits package including salary sacrificing, fitness passport, novated leasing, Star Finder referral program and so much moreOur fast-growing team of more than 3,500 people around Australia represent a huge array of life experiences, skills and ways of thinking.
