Key DutiesCollaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to fully understand the requirements and specifications of the software.Ensure that all functional and non-functional requirements are clear to create relevant test cases.Create test plans that outline the scope, approach, resources, and schedule of testing activities.Design detailed test cases, test scripts, and scenarios based on requirements to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of the software.Identify test data required for the execution of test cases.Execute manual or automated test cases to verify the software's functionality and behavior.Perform different types of testing including:Functional Testing: Verify that the application functions according to the requirements.Regression Testing: Ensure that new changes don't negatively affect existing functionalities.Performance Testing: Evaluate the system's speed, scalability, and reliability under load.Usability Testing: Assess the application from the end-user perspective to ensure it is easy to use.Security Testing: Identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure the software is secure against threats.Compatibility Testing: Ensure the software works across various devices, browsers, and platforms.Detect software bugs, inconsistencies, or deviations from the expected behavior during test execution.Log detailed defect reports that include the steps to reproduce the issue, severity, and potential impact.Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide enough information for them to reproduce and fix the bugs.Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce the time and effort required for repetitive testing tasks.Use tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG for automating functional and regression tests where applicable.Ensure that automated tests are integrated into continuous integration pipelines to provide immediate feedback after code changes.After bugs are fixed, perform regression testing to ensure that the fixes didn't introduce new issues.Continuously update test cases to reflect changes in the software.Ensure that the test environment mirrors the production environment closely for accurate testing results.Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results.Document test results and prepare comprehensive test reports that describe the test execution progress, defect status, and overall software quality.Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the testing process or product quality.Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that testing aligns with the product goals.Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint reviews to provide input on testing progress and issues.Assist the end-users or business team in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing test cases and ensuring the software meets the business requirements.Address feedback from UAT and ensure that all critical business scenarios are tested and verified.Keep up-to-date with new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.Suggest improvements in the testing process or automation to enhance software quality.Learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends to contribute effectively to evolving testing practices.Identify potential risks related to the software and prioritize testing efforts to focus on areas that present the highest risk to the business.Communicate potential risks and impacts to stakeholders and ensure they are factored into the development process.How to Apply:If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, please apply by submitting your resume and cover letter to Email address or bring your documents to the interview.
