The successful individual should be adaptable, able to switch between projects quickly, and collaborate effectively with various team members.Key Responsibilities:Develop backend APIs and integrations within a collaborative, cross-functional team.Communicate effectively with users across varying levels of technical expertise.Mentor junior developers, promote knowledge sharing, and support technical operations, infrastructure, and security.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications, while gathering requirements and guiding team members.Stay up-to-date with technology trends, implementing new features, maintaining existing ones, and reducing technical debt.Collaborate with stakeholders, support the Head of Engineering, and drive software excellence in the team.Required Experience:8+ years as a Backend Developer, having mentored and supported other developers. Node.js Expertise: Proficient in developing and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js.REST API Development: Experienced in designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and integration with third-party services.TypeScript Knowledge: Strong knowledge and practical experience in using TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable applications.Cloud Services: Skilled in deploying, managing, and optimizing applications on AWS cloud services, including experience with services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.SQL Databases: Proficient in working with SQL databases for data modeling, writing queries, and optimizing database performance.
