Primed and ready, quietly delivering some of the world's cleanest water for over five million residents and wildlife that call Melbourne home, just as we have for over 130 years.If you value making it count, diving in with curiosity, and doing what's right, you're in the right place.About the RoleReporting to the Manager Service Enablement ETP, the Project Manager is accountable for achieving business benefits from the delivery of the Service Enablement One Water program by implementing best practice systems, processes, and procurement methodologies; and ensuring all allocated projects are developed and delivered safely, efficiently, on time, to budget, and meet the required business quality and functional requirements.The realization of business benefits via the safe and effective delivery of all allocated projects within the Service Enablement One Water Program.Achieving value for money outcomes by challenging project scope, delivery methodologies, and driving best practice in capital delivery systems and processes.Managing project budget, schedule, forecasts, and risks, while driving a generative safety culture on projects.Overseeing project development from initiation to Ready for Tender within agreed parameters of time, quality, and cost, including development of project Functional Requirements, preparing artifacts for tender documentation, obtaining permits (planning, heritage, cultural, environmental), and determining delivery models (D&C, or D then C).About YouStrong knowledge of project management, change management, budgeting, and financial acumen.Experience in design, construction, and project management of large multi-concurrent projects.Competency-based project management certification with a relevant local or international professional organization such as AIPM, IPMA, GAPPS, or equivalent is desirable, alongside a relevant degree.Post-graduate degree in business is desirable.Highly developed technical leadership skills supported by strong communication and negotiation skills.How to ApplyClick the 'Apply Now' button below and complete our online application form.As an operator of critical infrastructure, Melbourne Water is required to determine what roles are critical under the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) Act 2018.
