Our Melbourne restaurant encompasses our ethos on a bigger scale.
Located in Tullamarine, as part of the world-class surfing destination URBNSURF, with a menu that features the best of Victoria's farms, wineries, craft breweries, and artisan producers.
You also get to enjoy the perks of being located next to perfect waves - either soaking up the atmosphere or grabbing your board and diving in
The Ducks' Assistant Restaurant Manager is a key role within the Ducks' team, responsible for ensuring each guest has a positive and unforgettable experience.
This role also plays a part in ensuring both the front and back of the house staff are working together cohesively to achieve the same goals and objectives.
Capabilities
Proven work experience in a high-volume setting as a Supervisor or Manager of a restaurant Extensive Food & Beverage knowledge & passion for the industry Great customer service skills and the temperament to match Ability to work with, mentor, and develop a large team Wine & cocktail knowledge is a bonus Comfortable setting priorities and tasks as required Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and planning skills Excellent verbal & written English skills Proficient computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office Solid financial acumen and the desire to exceed expectations Perks & Benefits
