The UGL New Energy Team is having a great 2024 and is successfully about to deliver 3 large scale battery projects which are now in the commissioning phase.
We are leading the way in New Energy – our pipeline of work for the next 3-5 years is exceptional.
As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer - Electrical to join the VIVA Energy Refinery project team.
ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFERIt is a site-based DIDO role to Geelong, VIC.
You are responsible for providing conceptual and detailed engineering of the project BOP.
The primary challenge of this position is to ensure the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet contractual arrangements made with the client.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Assist in the preparation of forecasts and constructability of projects.Supervise commissioning activities with the site commissioning teams.Develop ITP and work packs for Electrical installation work packages.Check Electrical works, Test Sheets, and signoff ITPs at completion of works.Assist the Project Manager with compliance to the documentation required under the UGL Management System.Your skills and experience:Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in an Electrical disciplineLeadership ability and demonstrative experience in project management.Substantial experience in HV electrical systems or worked on renewable projectsProven experience with the supervision of technical staffProactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficienciesPlease note that relevant screening checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
These may include a national criminal history check and a requirement for you to undergo pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screen.
