Challis Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Specialist Medical Oncologist to join a well-known health care facility in Victoria.

The successful applicant will be an outstanding clinician, demonstrate an exceptional track record as an oncologist and communicator, and provide a high-level knowledge of the oncology services where evidence-based clinical approaches are fundamental to the delivery of services. The position includes management of general oncology inpatients and outpatients, attending outreach clinics, and active participation in education, quality improvement, and research activities in our region.

The Health Service is a leader in healthcare delivery in the Hume region. Their services include an Emergency Department, Surgery, Medical, Women's and Children's Services, Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, Mental Health, and community-based health programs.
The campus has 280 beds providing acute medical, surgical, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatric, rehabilitation, intensive/coronary care, emergency care, mental health, and geriatric care. The health service is currently undergoing a $229 million redevelopment, which will include a new renal dialysis unit, an expanded emergency department including satellite medical imaging, inpatient wards, extended theatre space, intensive care unit, a new kitchen, mortuary, and the establishment of a Women's and Children's precinct featuring a new special care nursery, paediatric ward, and refurbished maternity ward.
