From humble beginnings to a thriving workforce of 400+, we've expanded not only in numbers but in ambition.Qualifications and skills:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience.5-7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, focusing on scalable system design and development.Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (Terraform, NodeJS/Typescript etc).Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges at scale.Experience working with complex microservices architecture, high user volume, and large-scale distributed systems.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPC etc).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).Understanding of security best practices and implementation.Strong sense of accountability and ownership, and boast an attitude of getting stuff done.Key Responsibilities:Optimise existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.Architect and design scalable, high-performance software solutions in alignment with project requirements and company standards.Improve and ensure monitoring and logging of the system is of the highest standard.Ensure systems are secure and safe from vulnerabilities, and ensuring security is maintained with system enhancements.Actively engage in hands-on coding and development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicating technical concepts and project updates.Provide technical leadership, guiding and mentoring junior engineers in the team.Some of the perks of working for us:EAP access for you and your familyAccess to over 9,000 courses across our Learning and Development PlatformA full-time barista who will make you coffee, tea and fresh juicesDaily catered breakfastMassage WednesdaysTeam lunches and happy hour in the office from 4pm on FridaysFun office environment with pool tables, table tennis and all your favourite gaming consolesOffice first culture with flexible start and finish timesUnlimited access to drinks and snacksWe believe that the unique contributions of everyone at Easygo are the driver of our success.
