Accounts Payable Officer (12 months Fixed Term) Gladstone Ports Corporation – Gladstone QLD
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER - 12 Months Fixed Term
We are seeking a proactive, values-driven, and highly organized Accounts Payable Officer to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term role.
Reporting to the Finance Superintendent and working within a dedicated team, you will be responsible and accountable for preparing, processing, and maintaining records for the payment of creditors, ensuring payments are made accurately, on time, and to instructions.

In addition, you will:
Deliver outputs required by the accounts payable section on time and to specifications.
Process invoices for payment in a timely manner.
Reconcile creditor statements and invoice payments and process bank file payments.
Record and pay GST.
Prepare, monitor, and process documents for accounts payable services in accordance with GPC policy to meet contractual requirements.
Ensure invoices are received in the correct form for GST purposes.
Maintain petty cash within the Accounts Payable section and assist with the administration of other departmental petty cash processes.
Work towards achieving financial responsibility through identification of cost-saving measures and effective utilization of resources.
