About The Role As a Business Support Officer, your role involves offering administrative support to Specialist Doctors and assisting patients and their families with all enquiries and support throughout their hospital stay.
Responsibilities include: Receptionist and Administrative tasksLiaison with various Health Professionals and patientsMaintaining schedules and accurate data entryProcessing patient excesses and cash handlingLiaison with Health Funds regarding patients' insurance coverProcessing of confidential Patient DataProcessing patient Informed Financial Consents and EstimatesAbout You To excel in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with strong administrative skills, a passion for customer service, and a preference for working in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring: Demonstrated ability to deal courteously with people by telephone and in person.Basic computer skills and general clerical experienceStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work in a team-oriented environment.Demonstrated ability to function calmly under pressure.Understanding of and commitment to principles of confidentialityExceptional attention to detail.Reliable and trustworthy with a can-do attitude.Ability to share a rotation of shifts EARLY, MID & LATE (Range between 0730 and 1730 to 1800 on occasion)Remuneration A base hourly rate ranging from $27.23- $31.36 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
