Job SummaryWe are currently searching for a talented Payments Business Analyst to join our team and contribute on several large-scale and challenging client projects.
The RoleAs a Payments Business Analyst, you will analyze payments solutions and convert them to technical requirements.
What Does Success Look Like? Work on Design & Development.
Interpret Architecture directions and design, test and deploy complex enterprise level Microservices-based applications.
Collaborate across teams and functions, working with Program Managers, Software Engineers, DevOps Specialists, Payments Domain and Integration Architects to provide industry-leading solutions for Westpac and its customers.Communicate complex ideas and solutions, technical engineering advice, and recommendations to team members, technical leaders, System Integration Managers, and Business Stakeholders.Support the application implementation, including multiple code and defect releases as required.
Ensure seamless integration with connecting payment systems, middleware, etc.Plan and conduct workshops to discuss and define technical requirements based on business needs.
Interpret Architecture documents and compile technical functional and non-functional specification documents in conjunction with the BAU Technical Design team.Effectively handle, escalate and follow-up on stakeholder compliments, issues, or complaints, using judgment to resolve concerns on the spot.Provide guidance and thought leadership on complex solutions.Minimum Requirements Minimum 10 years' experience in service engineering within the payment's domain.Experience in delivering solutions using Kafka, MQ, Java, and PI/Microservices.In the recent 5 years, have worked within Financial Services and understand core banking systems.Analyzed and delivered business data products and analytics.Worked in a large, complex organization with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Worked in both Agile and Waterfall team environments.Exposure to Cloud computing such as Microsoft Azure Cloud.Strong communicator with engineering and business teams.Strong stakeholder/vendor management.Ideally have experience in a hybrid Product/BA role.Next StepsIf you feel this opportunity suits you, or Cognizant is the type of organization you would like to join, we want to have a conversation with you
