Position: Motel Manager (Singles or Couples)Location: Tamworth, NSWCompany: The Aston - TamworthSalary: Based on ExperienceStart Date: ASAPAbout Us:The Aston Motel is a 4 star, 24 room motel in the beautiful region of Tamworth, NSW.
We are seeking friendly, committed, and hands-on individuals or couples to manage our site, gardens, and daily operations.
This live-in role offers a perfect blend of work flexibility, a simple lifestyle, and the charm of a vibrant community.
There is on site restaurant but it is closed.Responsibilities:Ensure all guests have a pleasant experience and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Day to Day operationsBookings, check-ins, checkouts, daily balancing, respond to emails/inquiries, responding to reviews, attend to guest issues/concerns, process accounting, ordering of linen/motel supplies, daily laundry for onsite linen, preparing breakfast, bed stripping, ironing pillow sleeves.Assist cleaning team when needed to maintain the pristine condition of the facilities.Ensure the site is well-presented and in good order including lawn mowing and hedging.Financial Management: Oversee budgets, manage costs, and inventory.Build and maintain relationships with guests and the local community.Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and occupational health and safety regulations.Manage online room inventory, set competitive rates, and seek opportunities to maximize revenue.
Assist with Social Media Marketing.Take ownership of the role and operate autonomously, driving success through proactive management.Additional adhoc tasks may be directed from the owner.Provide regular reports on the motel's operational and financial performance.Requirements:Experience: Preferably 2-3 years in hotel/motel management is advantageous.Able to live onsite – (fully furnished accommodation, utilities and wi-fi included).A passion for customer service – meeting guest expectations with a strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously, with a real want to build and maintain a customer base.Knows that hospitality can be 24/7 and therefore happy/willing to assist guests after hours if required.National Police Check or able to acquire one.References from your previous employer.Cooking experience highly valued.Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Good multi-tasker with a hands-on approach.Able to perform maintenance and gardening tasks.Proficiency in computer systems and booking software (Guestpoint experience preferred).Basic cooking skills (for breakfast preparation).Qualifications:Relevant qualifications in hospitality management are preferred but not essential.RSA and Food Safety Supervisor certificates are advantageous.First Aid certification advantageous and a valid driver's license.Attributes:Friendly and positive problem solver.Passionate about providing exceptional customer service.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.We will sponsor the right person if needed.Full-time role covering a 7-day week.Live-in position with fully furnished accommodation provided (utilities and Wi-Fi included).Supportive management and a close-knit team environment.Opportunity for career growth within the accommodation sector.How to Apply:If you're ready to embark on a rewarding journey and play a pivotal role in shaping guest experiences, please submit your resume and cover letter to ****** or contact Jagat on 0478786***.#J-18808-Ljbffr
