Job Title: Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) AdvisorLocation: Somerton, VICEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Position Summary:Our client is seeking a WHS Advisor to play a key role in the ongoing development and implementation of the company's safety management systems.
This position will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with WHS regulations and further enhancing the safety culture throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and continuously improve WHS systems to ensure regulatory compliance.Conduct internal audits and recommend improvements to safety strategies and procedures.Lead accident and incident investigations, manage workers' compensation claims, and oversee return-to-work programs.Support risk management efforts and deliver training on safety protocols and initiatives.Promote a positive safety culture by coaching and supporting teams across various departments.Candidate Requirements: Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation procedures.Proven ability to lead safety initiatives and drive improvements in safety culture.Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Benefits: Access to a performance-based bonus program.On-site parking and a scheduled RDO program for work-life balance.Monthly company BBQs to foster a positive team environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
