Senior Facilities Maintenance Manager | Critical Environment Building ServicesExcelling in delivering technical facilities management and innovative engineering solutions, our client specializes in complex and critical facilities such as Data Centres, government complexes, healthcare facilities, laboratories, and large commercial sites, prioritizing operational continuity and high-quality maintenance.
The Role The crux of the role is to oversee and manage all building services performance and maintenance on a particular site to ensure optimal operation and maintenance, managing a team of maintenance and tradespeople.
Key responsibilities include: Ensuring compliance with essential safety measures and building regulations.Manage and coordinate minor works projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.Collaborate with and coordinate trades personnel to address maintenance and repair needs.Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of building systems.Monitor and ensure the quality of work performed by contractors and in-house teams.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.Provide leadership and direction to the facilities team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.About you Proven experience in facility management, particularly in hard services.
Sound knowledge of essential safety measures and compliance requirements.
Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Previous experience managing a team.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of trades and support staff.
Previous experience managing a critical environment would be desirable.
