Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical BiasAshby de la Zouch (Home of Hula Hoops, Space Raiders, Nik Naks and more)Shift Pattern: 24 / 7 or Panama shift pattern (12 hr shifts) day and night shiftsSalary: GBP49,937Some of the benefits you can expect to receive:Bonus schemeMedicash Health cash planPrivate Healthcare (dependent on Grade)KP Pension Plan - matching contribution stakeholder pension plan (up to 7% of salary) which also includes life assurance and income protection25 days holiday5-year service additional holidayAnnual salary reviewMyGym DiscountsCancer CareHoliday Buy (buy up to an additional 5 days holiday per year)Career BreakCycle to WorkCompany Sick Pay - once eligibleEmployee Assistance ProgrammeDigital GPBest Doctors - 2nd medical opinionAccess to KP4ME - online benefits, discounts, prizes, competitions and information platform with access to mental, physical and financial wellbeing information and toolsThe Role:We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer - with Electrical Bias to join the friendly team at our Ashby site which is home to iconic KP brands such as Hula Hoops, Skips, Nik Naks and Space Raiders.You'll be an integral member of the Engineering function providing a comprehensive electrical, mechanical and maintenance engineering service to safely sustain and improve production operating efficiencies in line with the continued growth of the business.Responsibilities include:Repairing and maintaining production and ancillary equipment, property and facilities ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and in line with the requirements of the production process and planCreating PPM schedules, maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing data entry records within appropriate timescalesActing as host for Contractors working on site ensuring that all necessary documentation is available and completed and that safe working practices are agreed prior to commencement of workResponding to requests from production and Maintenance Leads for engineering assistance, monitoring visual management boards to ensure priority items are dealt withWorking with the production teams to improve their capability and knowledge of the equipmentAbility to quickly identify problems, perform root cause analysis to stop repeat failuresFollowing policies and procedures in conjunction with the food quality management system and retailer-specific technical standardsPlaying an active part in food safety and health and safety, identifying hazards and risks, and ensuring all health and safety procedures and safe working practices are always followedWho are we?Glad you asked
