AP+ brings together Australia's three domestic payment providers, BPAY Group, eftpos, and NPP Australia, into one integrated entity, enabling AP+ to create a more competitive and coordinated Australian payments organization.
The Purpose:
The Governance Analyst role is pivotal in championing the AP+ Technology governance framework, best practices in IT governance, and compliance to ensure the ongoing integrity and security of AP+'s organizational IT infrastructure.
The Governance Analyst is tasked with ongoing review and improvement of the Technology governance framework to ensure its compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
As the successful candidate, you will have a proven track record of being organized in a fast-paced environment, providing administrative support and managing governance committee meetings.
You will bring high energy and be self-driven to support like-minded people within the team.
Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and implement policies and procedures to maintain AP+'s Technology governance framework.
Assess the existing Technology governance framework and identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
Drive the adoption and compliance of governance practices throughout the Technology organization.
Develop standard operating procedures for Technology to ensure compliance with corporate governance.
Ensure the organization's adherence to industry-specific compliance standards and regulations.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on compliance performance and improvement initiatives.
Facilitate Technology audits and assessments.
Collaborate with Technology teams to define governance objectives and align them with business and Technology.
Provide guidance and support on complying with internal and external policies.
Support internal and external stakeholders, including preparation of agenda, meeting materials, and minutes of meetings.
Coordinate and manage internal and external stakeholders to complete assigned actions within agreed timeframes.
Distribute meeting materials to agreed internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate and schedule committee meetings, communicating with stakeholders to track attendance.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
6+ years' experience working within an information or data governance function.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certification in IT governance and compliance standards such as COBIT, ITIL, or ISO 27001.
Demonstrated knowledge of technology governance practices and business issues related to management of enterprise information assets.
Practical experience in the definition and implementation of Technology policies and procedures.
Experience in coordinating and organizing internal stakeholders to enable collaboration and efficient communication.
A good understanding of information management practices, including information lifecycle management, data modeling, and master data management.
