Laundry Services Assistant, Vmch Providence- Bacchus Marsh

• Casual position at VMCH, Providence-Bacchus Marsh • Great culture with supportive and inclusive environment • Base rate of $25-26 per hour and excellent Not for Profit Salary Packaging Benefits About the role Collect, sort, wash, dry and distribute clothing/linen Maintain adequate stocks of supplies at all times Ensure chemicals are available for washing and the correct wash cycle is used for all loads Ensure heavily soiled items are handled in line with Infection Control Procedures Skills & experience Interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision Experience working in a commercial laundry facility and/or in working in a health care facility Full-time availability and Full-time work rights preferred Benefits As an employee of VMCH, you will be provided with ongoing personal and professional development, career pathways opportunities, a positive and supportive workplace culture, and excellent salary packaging benefits.
