Senior Associate/Associate - Litigation (Consumer Markets)Norton Rose Fulbright is a global legal practice. We currently have an opportunity for a lawyer at Associate to Senior Associate level to join one of Australia's leading litigation practices, with a strong focus on class actions, franchising and consumer markets work. As a pivotal member of the team, you will be working alongside Nigel Jones focusing on substantial large-scale commercial litigation matters and working with some of the world's best-known brands spanning the consumer, retail, automotive and leisure sectors as well as acting for government.
Responsibilities Manage a broad range of large scale commercial litigation mattersDraft correspondence and evidence, run interlocutory applications and trialsAssist with briefing and instructing counsel and liaising directly with clientsAssist with document and evidence managementAssist with presentations, publications and all business development related initiativesRequirements A minimum of 3 years PQE gained within a reputable litigation practiceStrong time management & organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyA strong desire to work on complex, high profile litigationExcellent written, drafting and verbal communication skillsStrong client liaison skillsThe successful candidate will need to be energetic, driven and commercially focused.
