Site Technician

Our client specialises in geotechnical testing and installation services for the construction industry.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and capable full-time Site Soil Technician based around the Sydney area.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the full support of an administration team to manage your schedule with full site training provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities: Travelling to job sites to carry out site investigations and soil reportsSet up and operate technical instruments to conduct field drilling and testingGathering site data and soil samples from sitesCoordinate postage of your samples back to head officeComplete reporting documentation and take site photos using a tabletEssential Criteria: Any Construction site-based experience with a desire to work in geotechnical testingAustralian Driver Licence (Manual)Good physical fitness for manual handling tasksAbility to work autonomouslyMechanically mindedWillingness to work away from home on intermittent regional projects e.g.
Newcastle and Central CoastWhite cardUnrestricted Working Rights in AustraliaDesirable: Technical Field Service experienceSoil Testing or similar industry experienceHours of Work: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday plus regular overtime
