Location: Woolloongabba, Queensland Type: Contract Job #17376 Overview Our large commercial client is seeking a highly skilled Brisbane-based Technical Business Analyst for a 6-month contract position, with the potential view for extension.
This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering both functional and technical requirements, with a focus on web services, SharePoint, and content management systems (CMS).
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Responsibilities Gather and analyse functional and technical requirements from stakeholders.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear understanding of project goals and objectives.
Define, document, and communicate technical specifications for web services, SharePoint, and CMS integrations.
Ensure that all solutions align with business needs and technical constraints.
Support the team in testing and validating new features and functionalities.
Assist in the development and optimisation of business processes.
Provide guidance and expertise on technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress and adjust timelines and priorities as necessary.
Engage with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and expectations are managed.
Skills Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a focus on both functional and technical requirements gathering.
Strong knowledge of web services, SharePoint, and CMS.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies.
Previous experience working in the education sector is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
