What You'll Do We require a Commercial Buyer to operate in our Commercial Buying and Insights team, responsible for developing and nurturing supplier relationships and engaging and growing our wholesale promotional program.
Execute outcomes from supplier negotiations Establish and nurture supplier relationships Ongoing negotiate and administer a wholesale promotional program, analyse promotional plans and suggest programs/events/promotional effectiveness Contribute to the establishment of a multi-channel range offer Continuous process improvement What You'll Bring You will ideally have +5 years experience in a similar commercial role, be ambitious and driven.
We need someone who displays a high level of commercial acumen, modelling basket mix, understanding of trading terms & advanced understanding of price strategy & promotional effectiveness.
Your approach is logical, analytical & you apply flexibility to meet critical issues.
Retail Buyer and/or FMCG experience in retail Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders delivering an equitable outcome Have a strong collaborative nature and able to build proactive relationships with stakeholders Team player who is willing to support the wider team Strong analytical skills.
