In this new role of Vocational Education and Training (VET) Advisor, you will play an important role, as part of a knowledgeable and experienced team of VET professionals.
Your understanding of the complexity of VET will help to assist with strategies and approaches to support the reform of the system.
You will use your abilities to collaborate and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
Your curiosity and openness to think about solutions differently will create change and make a real impact in ensuring that Australia's present and future workforce have the skills necessary to drive and grow the booming Finance, Technology and Business (FTB) sectors.
You will do this by Maintaining relationships with training providers and RTOs to support the quality delivery of accredited VET training and assessment, collaborating with trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to implement, promote and monitor training and assessment solutions for the FTB sectorsAdministrating various monitoring and evaluation approaches which help to: understand the needs of RTOs understand the use and function of training package examine the impact of changes identify opportunities to innovate and increase the quality of training development, delivery and pathways.
Working across the education and training sector to: support the quality delivery of accredited VET training and assessment collaborate with trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to support the design and implementation of innovative training solutions for the FTB sectors.
Bring a fresh perspective to how training and assessment is delivered;exploring new technologies, techniques, and best practices to enhancetraining delivery.Supporting initiatives to develop careers, pathways and other relevantinformation suitable for learners (School - Professionals), employees,employers and training providers.Providing support to ensure stakeholder consultation is conducted effectivelyand professionally, with information being recorded and processed for furtheranalysis.You will be flexible when taking on other duties and responsibilities that may arise.Who are we?The Future Skills Organsiation is one of the 10 Jobs and Skills Councils, (JSCs) appointed by the Commonwealth government.
Our role is to enhance industry engagement in the reform of skills and training and facilitate industry-led skilling solutions across the Technology, Finance and Business sectors.
JSCs reflect the importance of VET to Australia's economic growth and productivity, and their formation is part of a broader skills reform agenda.
To do this we need a team of people who share our commitment and passion to drive change on behalf of the Nation.

Our key selection criteria: Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor information for different stakeholders and make the complex simple.
Experience working collaboratively as part of a project team to produce qualityand timely deliverables in a dynamic and changing environment.
Proven ability to research, record and maintain data from various sources, both internal and external to the organisation, relevant to the VET sector for use in projects.
Experience working in the Australian VET sector or in education and training Demonstrated ability to plan, design and develop high-quality training that meets the needs of diverse learners and stakeholders.An understanding of current VET quality assurance/compliance requirements.
Excellent digital literacy and ability to use MS Office programs: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, MS Teams.
