About the Opportunity
As a
Senior Structural Engineer
for ICON, you will be challenged by a diverse range of projects for major national and international oil and gas clients.
You will be presented with a mix of brownfield and greenfield projects in the areas of offshore and onshore infrastructure, drilling rig/platform design and modifications, specialised equipment design, and field developments.
Working autonomously, overseeing a small team on larger projects or as the sole engineer on a smaller project, you will be required to solve complex problems with innovative design solutions, including overseeing the fabrication, construction, and installation of your solutions.

About You
B.
Eng.
in a relevant discipline.
Structural Engineering project experience from conceptual design through to installation.
Experience in detailed structural design on brownfield oil and gas projects, including producing calculations and reports, is ideal, but we are open to other related industry experience.
Being well versed with current offshore codes and specifications, including DNV, API, ISO, AISC WSD, is preferred, but we can work with you to bring you up to speed.
Proficient with SPACE GASS or equivalent structural engineering software.
Working knowledge of SACS, Strand 7 or equivalent software is also desirable.
