For more than 13 years, we've partnered with some of Australia's top brands to create innovative, human-centred digital solutions.About the RoleAs a Senior .NET Backend Developer, you'll focus on designing, developing, and optimising scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems using .NET technologies.
You'll ensure seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services while contributing to the quality, scalability, and security of our codebase.
In addition to hands-on development, you'll take a leadership role in mentoring and guiding team members on best practices.This role combines hands-on development with the opportunity to shape and enhance a high-quality codebase.
You'll play a key part in delivering solutions that not only meet user needs, but also uphold the highest standards of quality, performance, and security.About You5+ years of commercial experience in backend development using .NET technologies.Proficiency in C# programming and familiarity with the .NET framework, .NET Core, and related tools.Strong experience with RESTful API design and development, including best practices for integration and security.Expertise in database design and optimisation, particularly with SQL Server or other relational databases.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.Familiarity with modern development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing.Understanding of security standards and protocols, including authentication and authorisation mechanisms.Proficiency in performance tuning and debugging backend systems to ensure high availability and reliability.A solid grasp of software design patterns and principles.Knowledge of containerisation tools like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (desirable).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a consulting environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Life at BilueClient-focused: We are dedicated to delivering exceptional value to our clients while supporting each other to achieve collective success.Flexible work: This role is based in Brisbane, where Bilue doesn't currently have an office.
