Grade 3 Senior Pharmacist - Cardiology & Intensive Care
Northern Health is seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 3 Senior Pharmacist - Cardiology & Intensive Care to join the Pharmacy Department.About Northern Health:Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.About the Pharmacy Department:The Pharmacy Department operates across five campuses and has a strong vision to deliver exceptional, evidenced-based care to our patients.
Meeting the immediate and longer-term health care needs of our community requires a transformation in how we provide health care services.About the Role:A full-time, fixed term contract opportunity exists for a Grade 3 Senior Pharmacist - Cardiology to join the team at Northern Health.
This role will require work over 10 days (80 hours) per fortnight - Monday to Friday at the Northern Hospital with potential to work at other sites of Northern Health as required.This position is fixed term full time until January 2026 - covering maternity leave.The Senior Pharmacist - Cardiology & Intensive Care has responsibility for the provision of clinical pharmacy services to Northern Health.
They will ensure excellence in client care, evidence-based practice, and service improvement and risk management.To be successful in this role you will have:Comprehensive experience as a hospital pharmacist, with a minimum of 5 years hospital experience.Clinical experience in surgical or peri-operative services.Experience which includes leadership responsibility for teams or services.Experience in supervision and development of staff.Demonstrated good interpersonal and communication skills.Well-developed self-management skills including the ability to meet timelines and prioritise competing demands.Next Steps:If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
