We create pathways for you to succeed, and the space for you to carve your own journey.The Defence Fuels Network (DFN) is an extensive network of more than 100 Defence Fuel Installations (DFI's) across Australia providing fuel for Army, Navy and Airforce operations. The Defence Fuels Network Managing Contractor Contract (DFN MCC) sees UGL partnering with the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) in delivering strategic and recurring services to Australia's Defence Forces in Fuel and Inventory Management, Asset, Engineering, Maintenance and Operations Management and delivery while enhancing and maximising Australian supply chain and participation.The OpportunityAs the Regional Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to support the Senior Project Engineer and the Engineering and Strategic Asset Manager to scope and manage engineering effort. This position requires expertise in managing engineering scopes across multiple work fronts while also fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary contact for the Operations and Maintenance team, providing them with essential engineering support.Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned sites to support operational continuity and provide backup support for Superintendents and Supervisors as required.Co-ordinate risk assessments in support of operational requirements and help manage changes, engaging appropriate technical expertise as needed.Assist the Senior Project Engineer on the development and delivery of business processes to define the scope and method of delivery for the Engineering & Strategic Asset Management team, and their interfaces into the broader contract team.Ideal AttributesThe following Ideal attributes are highly desired, but if you do not tick all the boxes, you could still be a great fit.
