Showcase your end-to-end commercial construction/fit-out project tendering skills, providing accurate and competitive tenders as an EstimatorWoods & Co Recruitment has partnered with an established construction company, with a growing project pipeline.
Our client has over 10 years of experience specialising in quality commercial fitouts, building refurbishments and commercial construction.
A stand-out Estimator will support their growing pipeline, especially supporting their commercial construction projects.As an Estimator you will be in charge of creating and maintaining accurate estimates of projects end-to-end, ensuring all tenders comply with government regulations, legislation and industry standards.
You will also be well-experienced in tendering projects between $5 million and $20 million, especially in the commercial construction and fitout space.The majority of our client's projects are based in Metro Melbourne, with their client base including government schools, childcares, and other reputable businesses.What's in it for you?South East locationWorking on high-quality projectsCompetitive salaryCollaborative team environmentWhat do you do?Preparing take-offs and accurate estimatesManaging tenders end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, legislation and industry codesRead and interpret plans and other documents with a high degree of accuracyConducting risk assessments of design and contractsMaintain effective document managementMaintaining effective stakeholder relationships, including with trade contractors, internal staff and clientsAttending site on an ad-hoc basisWhat do you need?3+ years of experience in commercial construction - new build, refurb and fit-outExperience tendering and winning projects between $5mil-$20milProficient in estimating software (e.g., Cubit, Cost X, Buildsoft, EstimateOne)Strong computer skills - Microsoft OfficeValid Victorian Driver's LicencePolice Check & Working with Children Check requiredIf you're as passionate about this position as we are then please don't delay and APPLY NOW
