Established for over 50 years, TriCare is one of Queensland's leading privately owned and managed retirement communities and aged care residences.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accounting Supervisor to join the team at TriCare.
You would be working to assist the accounting department by completing a broad range of financial administration duties.

Reporting to: Accounting Manager
Responsibilities:
Leading accounts team of 4-6 team members onshore and offshore.
Preparation of regular compliance reporting.
Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis reporting.
Reconcile nominated general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers monthly.
Preparation of quarterly reporting.
Preparation of statutory and statistical returns/reporting as required.
Assist with the preparation of yearly budgets.
Preparation and review of large reconciliations such as Medicare billing, outgoings etc.
Preparation and lodgement of BAS.
Assist in preparation of Tax workpapers.
Oversee assistant accountants, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Other ad-hoc duties.
Key requirements, skills, and experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing small team.
Minimum 7 years of experience in an accounting role.
High level accounting skills for medium - large complex organisations.
Experience with Epicor desirable.
Aged care experience desirable.
Verbal and written skills of a high standard.
Problem solving and analytical ability.
Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.
Ability to liaise with all levels in the organisation.
Advanced level skills in MS Excel – moderate to advanced skills in MS Word.
