Company Overview:
We seek an accomplished Building Consultant for our client, two leaders in the industry merging their expert services within the building and construction industry, specialising in expert witness services and forensic inspections across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

Role Overview:
The Senior Building Consultant will conduct comprehensive building inspections, prepare detailed reports, and provide tailored consultancy services.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough building inspections to identify damage causes, including design flaws and construction defects.
Analyse causation and recommend remediation strategies.
Prepare forensic reports for litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
Develop scopes of work and oversee repair work.
Serve as an expert witness in legal settings.
Build client relationships through professional communication.
Mentor junior consultants and manage multiple assignments effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 8 years in the building and construction industry, focusing on residential projects.
Expertise in defect analysis and litigation-standard reports.
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC).
Relevant degree in Building, Construction, or Engineering.
Leadership skills and exceptional communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
