Our broad range of primary health services, care management and in home and community support services can be tailored to an individual's needs and with major hubs in Box Hill and Eltham, these services can be delivered locally, in the Eastern and North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Job DescriptionThe opportunity:
We are looking for a Psychologist to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary teams in a flexible part time capacity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Provide quality direct, primary care Psychology services, including assessments and therapeutic interventions, to children and youth with a range of presentations, in a family-centred, interdisciplinary framework.Implement assessments as part of psychology clinical practice, specific to children and youth, including: WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WAIS-I, WIAT-III, ADOS 2 and other psychological assessments.Provide therapeutic intervention for clients who may present with a variety of emotional and behavioural challenges, including depression, anxiety, phobias, aggression, trauma, eating disorders, learning difficulties and disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders or delays.Provide holistic support to parents through provision of resources, strategies, referrals, case conferencing and care team meetings, as appropriate; Facilitating parent information sessions related to child and youth psychology.Develop and facilitate groups, seminars and psychoeducation sessions as part of our School Readiness Funded Allied Health (SRF-AH) activities and other Children, Youth and Family Projects.Work across Eltham and Box Hill Sites and outreach to schools and kindergartens.Desired Skills and ExperienceHolds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and current Practising Membership status with Australian Health Practitioners' Regulation Authority (AHPRA) as a fully registered psychologist.Registered or (eligible and willing to register) for Medicare Benefits Schedule/Private health insurance registration as a service provider at healthAbility.Relevant and recent experience as a practising Psychologist working with a range of child and youth populations.Proven experience in conducting assessments, diagnostics, and therapy, for children and adolescents with diverse developmental and behavioural needs.Experience working in a multidisciplinary team, and/or in a community/public health or school setting is advantageous.ADOS-2 certification will be highly regarded.Please apply here by submitting a cover letter addressing the key selection criteria with your CV.
