Senior Recruitment Advisor

As our Senior Recruitment Advisor, you will: Oversee and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job advertising, candidate sourcing, selection, and onboarding activities.Provide leadership and guidance to the AO5 Recruitment Advisor and other team members, setting priorities and maintaining high standards in recruitment and HR services.Manage establishment matters, maintaining accurate records of positions and coordinating with business groups to ensure effective workforce and succession planning, and establishment control.Offer timely and accurate general HR advice on recruitment and selection, policies, directives, and industrial instruments.Generate comprehensive HR reports, including recruitment metrics, workforce planning data, to support compliance with policies and procedures, and strategic decision making.Provide scribing services for selection panels, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation of recruitment and selection activities.Address and resolve complex HR related queries from stakeholders, providing clear and accurate advice on recruitment and general HR matters.Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and initiatives to attract and retain staff, ensuring alignment with departmental goals, values and strategic workforce plan.Perform other HR related tasks as required to support the team.What we are looking for: Assessing your eligibility and suitability to fulfill the role requirements (including, where relevant, the way you carried out previous roles).Evaluating your potential contributions to the department and how your involvement would uphold our commitment to equity, diversity, respect, and inclusion.While not essential, you may also have: A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field.Extensive experience in managing recruitment processes and leading a recruitment team within a Queensland public sector environment.Demonstrated experience in establishment management and providing generalist HR advice.Experience in preparing and analysing HR reports, providing insights to support decision making.Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently.Why join the department?
