Join the team at one of the leading public health organisations in Australia About the Role Community Mental Health Services provide a range of services designed to help support the recovery and help consumers stay well in the community. The team provides specialist services for young people, children and families, adults, and older people. Community mental health services include a specialist Aboriginal Mental Health Team, bilingual mental health workers, and Peer Support Workers. The role will be based at Marrickville. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Ideal Candidate Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
