Inventor Experience is also required.Role Overview :As a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer specializing in Coal Handling with expertise in pump and pipe systems, you will play a pivotal role in our client's engineering projects.
Your focus will be on design management, where you will lead and mentor a team of engineers, oversee design processes, and engage directly with clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions.Key Responsibilities :Design Leadership : Lead the development of complex coal handling projects, ensuring excellence in design, efficiency, and safety.
Your expertise in pump and pipe systems will be instrumental in achieving project success.Team Mentorship : Serve as a mentor and guide for our engineering team, fostering their growth and technical development.
Your experience will be invaluable in nurturing talent within our organization.Client Engagement : Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs, offering innovative solutions, and ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.Design Management : Oversee the entire design process, from conception to execution, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency throughout.Qualifications :Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in coal handling design, with a focus on pump and pipe systems.Proven track record in design management, demonstrating leadership and successful project delivery.Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software.What We Offer :Competitive compensation package.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.A collaborative and innovative work environment.Access to cutting-edge technology and resources.Flexibility : You'll have the option to work in-office for two days each week.Location : Newcastle.Initial 12-24 Month Contract with Potential for Extension.Our client is a well-established global company specializing in heavy minerals mining and processing.
