Brighter Futures Consulting are a locally owned and operated company based in Darwin, providing services to NDIS participants of the Northern Territory - including Coordination of Supports, Specialist Support Coordination, Specialist Behaviour Supports and Music Therapy.We are committed to improving the quality of life for Territorians living with disability.

We work hard and are dedicated to bettering the lives for all Territorians living with disability.We are searching for a pro-active and motivated Specialist Support Coordinator to join our team.About the position:The position will be working with participants with complex care and medical needs across the life span, to identify and address barriers to implement their NDIS plan.
The Specialist Support Coordinator is required to build relationships with participants, their family, disability services organisations, clinical staff and various government departments, including health, education, communities and justice.Brighter Futures Consulting encourages a collaborative approach by stakeholders to ensure supports are delivered in a person-centred and timely manner.
This position assists with building a foundation for best practice care, staff training, support, and intervention for participants, ultimately achieving positive and sustainable outcomes following a period of crisis.Key Requirements:A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Nursing or other Allied Health.Demonstrated well-developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work well independently and cooperatively as a member of a team.Established ability to listen actively and demonstrate empathy.Well-developed organisational skills, the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.Working with Children card; NDIS Worker Screening; Police check (within 6 months); current Drivers Licence and roadworthy vehicle.Computer literacy – efficiency in Microsoft Office.To apply for this position you must have (or be willing to obtain) the following:Current Australian driver's licence and roadworthy vehicle.Working with Children (Ochre) Card.National Police Clearance.First Aid Certificate.NDIS Worker Screening.The right to work in Australia.If you feel you have the skills and experience to be a Specialist Support Coordinator with Brighter Futures Consulting, and would love to join our amazing team, please APPLY todayIf you would like to find out more about this position please contact Jiss Job, Senior Support Coordinator, via brighterfuturesconsulting.com.au or phoning 0484 574.We celebrate multidisciplinary teams and value the rich skills and experiences brought by applicants from a range of sectors and professional backgrounds.
