The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team on a full time and permanent basis in Townsville 4810 or Gladstone 4680.
The role is suitable for a relevantly qualified individual with excellent communication skills, and the confidence to liaise with clients, investigate incidents and processes and give direct, educated feedback and advice.
The position requires travel to various sites in Northern QLD.What's on offerOpportunities for growth and career developmentDiverse role with travel opportunities across multiple sitesAttractive remuneration package, car allowance and fuel card includedWork with experienced and knowledgeable leadership teams that champion a strong safety cultureWhat you'll be responsible forBuilding strong and engaging working relationships at all levelsLead incident investigations and reportingConduct inspections and audits in accordance with the internal audit scheduleBeing proactive, promoting H&S and continuously help improve the businessBe visible across the workplace, building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders by spending time in the fieldWhat you'll need to be successfulFormal qualification in WH&S Cert 4 or greater and industry experienceQualification in incident investigation such as ICAMEffective influencing skills with the ability to engage at all levels of an organisationWorking knowledge and understanding of relevant WHS legislation including Chain of ResponsibilityValid Australian Driver's LicenceA Veolia CareerVeolia ANZ values employees and their health and wellbeing.
