Brisbane Depot Manager

Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time Hills Tankers Brisbane are looking for suitable candidates to lead a team and manage the day-to-day operations of the Brisbane fleet.
The position is based in Brisbane in a modern office facility leading a committed team of 60+ drivers and staff including a team of 24/7 schedulers to achieve industry-leading results that Hills Tankers pride themselves on.
This opportunity offers you the ability to lead the depot like your own whilst being fully supported by a long-standing management team to support you as and when required.
Your main tasks will include: Duties Ensure safe, cost-effective, and reliable deliveries to retail and mine sites in SE QLD.Meet and exceed customers' expectations at all times.Ensure optimum configurations are utilised for each delivery.Establish and manage relationships with all stakeholders.Responsible and accountable for a safe working environment reporting any safety incidents or concerns to your supervisor and following all procedures at all times.Encourage and promote Hills Tankers culture at all times ensuring a positive, safe work environment for all.Assist staff in day-to-day scheduling and providing leave coverage for the scheduling team if required.As the Brisbane Depot Manager, you will also work closely with other depots to offer customers strategic solutions.Skills and Experience Sound geographical knowledge of SE QLD and Northern NSW areas.Highly developed organisational and time management skills.Strong verbal and written communication with a high attention to detail.Ability to manage/lead staff and delegate tasks effectively.Computer skills are a must.The position offers an attractive remuneration package commensurate with experience.
