Location: Sydney
Boral is seeking a responsible, organised and experienced professional driver to operate a Tanker Truck at our Prestons Cement Plant. As a Boral Driver, you will be responsible for delivering product in a safe manner to customer sites throughout the Sydney Metro and Southern regions with the ability to prioritise your workload and conducting yourself safely at all times. The nature of this role requires flexibility to work Monday to Saturday.
Your day will involve: Safe and efficient cartage of materialsConducting daily checks on the vehicle and reporting maintenance as requiredCompleting basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of materialsCommunicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiencesWhat are we looking for? Current HC LicenceProven experience driving a Heavy Combination (HC) vehicleBulk powder tanker experience preferred but not essentialOH&S induction for construction industry (white Card) desirableDemonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulationsWhat's on offer? Boral Cement is working towards reducing carbon emissions by replacing 60% of fossil fuel in its manufacturing process with lower carbon alternative fuel.
