Our Outside School Hours Care service, Clover Hill State School Helping Hands , is looking for a passionate Co-Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering 38 hours per week (including 4 hours of non-contact administration time) to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.
You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 8:45am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm - 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program).
You can pick up block shifts during the school holidays too
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years.
You'll have the support of a state-specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kids Strong and clear communication Team player with a desire to become a service leader Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it)
and a state check for working with children Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA What's in it for you?
