Job Title: Technical Business Analyst
Contract: 6 Months + Likely ext.
Day Rate: $900 per day inc. Super
Location: Macquarie Park (2-3 days pw onsite) As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation of cloud integration solutions on Microsoft Azure.
You will collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure seamless integration of systems, applications, and data.
Your strong technical acumen and experience with Azure will enable you to analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document their needs, focusing on cloud integration and data migration projects using Azure. Solution Design: Collaborate with development teams and solution architects to define technical solutions that align with business goals and Azure best practices. Azure Integration Projects: Lead and contribute to Azure-based integration initiatives, including API development, data pipelines, and cloud application integration. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business and technical requirements, data flows, use cases, and process maps. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main liaison between business teams, IT departments, and external vendors to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery. Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist in developing test plans, validating solutions, and ensuring that business needs are met through rigorous testing procedures. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, system enhancements, and optimization of cloud solutions within the Azure ecosystem. Project Management Support: Work alongside project managers to track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of Azure integration projects. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Azure integration or similar cloud-based projects. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Azure Data Factory, and related integration tools. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements. Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and solution design. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships and drive project success.
