The primary purpose of the Packaging Technician is to ensure the timely and smooth production of chemicals and devices.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Starting salary: $19.00/hr + $2.50/hr respirator mask premium
Responsibilities & Duties: Preparation for Production:
Clean lab and equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Prepare raw products and appropriate packaging materialsFollow procedures and maintain all parameters conformant to cGMPsUse of full PPE including a full-face respirator and adhering to safe work methods dailyPackaging of Chemicals and Devices:
Prepare packaging materialsPackage bulk chemicals, devices, narcotics and controlled substancesClean lab and materials used after completion of productionManufacturing Products:
Complete the necessary forms for manufactured materials from subcontractorsWeigh, package, prepare and ship the materials for manufacturingQualifications: One (1) to four (4) years experience in a production environment; chemical/pharmaceutical industry is considered an assetHigh School Diploma requiredLifting required, heavy lifting of up to 60lbs is required at timesAccountable, dependable, team player with great communications skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail is a mustExcellent communication skills in French (oral & written) required.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)What's In It For You … We invest time and resources into making sure Medisca is as good as the people we hire.
