As a Maintenance Officer at BaptistCare, you'll be the go-to person for all things maintenance, ensuring our facilities are top-notch and our clients are happy.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to): Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, painting, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks. Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks. Maintain asset acquisition and disposals in Maintenance Connection. Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas. Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management. Purchase and order equipment in accordance with organizational policies. Report and manage resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services. Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors. Hands-on property maintenance experience. Understanding of operational budget processes. Experience managing property-related contractors. A team player with a can-do attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft 365. Valid driver's license. Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) – desirable. Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment.
