This is an exciting role for someone who is versatile, can easily adapt their style and tone in print and online to match any brand, and has an eye for the finer details.
You'll work closely with the Editorial Directors, Editors and Senior Copy Editor of all publications, ensuring both quality and smooth omnichannel workflow, and assisting writers with edits where needed.

Duties Stay up to date with celebrity, royal, TV/entertainment and breaking Aussie newsCopy edit and fact check magazine features – editorial and lifestyle - providing feedback and guidance for writers and contributorsHelp maintain the overall tone of the publication being worked onTake charge of legal checks and prepublication processes where requiredAdhere to a clear and effective omnichannel workflowSkills and experience Minimum 3 years' experience on a magazine, website, or related industryStrong written and verbal communication skills with high-level attention to detailAbility to change tone and style to match any of the publications in the Women's Entertainment verticalAbility to deal with a fast-paced, changing environmentExperience with editorial software applicationsAre Media is committed to a diverse, respectful, collaborative & inclusive workplace.
