plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits RN3 Nurse Practitioner Candidate - Temporary Full-Time, up to 4 years RN4 Nurse Practitioner - Ongoing Full-Time About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to embark on an exceptional career as a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner Candidate in the Perinatal Mental Health team within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.
This role is centred around providing exceptional care and support to women experiencing perinatal mental health challenges, ensuring their well-being and that of their newborns is prioritised as part of the perinatal mental health nursing and midwifery team.
The NALHN Perinatal Mental Health Nursing and Midwifery team is a small specialist team, who provide consultation and liaison advice to NALHN clinicians to support their assessment and care of women with mental health disorders during pregnancy and following birth.
Perinatal Mental Health refers to the emotional and psychological mental health and wellbeing of a woman during the period from conception through the postnatal period.
The NALHN Perinatal Mental Health Nursing and Midwifery team work together with a consultant Psychiatrist, psychiatry trainees, GP's and community support agencies to assess and case manage a number of women with complex mental health and trauma conditions.
As a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner Candidate, you will leverage your extensive clinical expertise and specialised knowledge to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing and managing perinatal mental health conditions, ensuring holistic and patient-centred care.
To be eligible for this position as a Nurse Practitioner Candidate , you will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Must be enrolled (or be eligible to enrol) in an NMBA approved program of study leading to endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
To be eligible for this position as a Nurse Practitioner , you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with the notation of Nurse Practitioner.
Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
