About the CompanyAdventCare is a highly sought after Christian provider of Aged Care and Retirement living across three sites in Victoria.About the RoleThis is a full-time role of 5 days per week.
This is a broad role which will see you supporting Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.ResponsibilitiesAs the Assistant Accountant your duties will include but not limited to:Assisting in the review and reconciliation of timesheets.Assisting in the maintenance of employee personnel files and establishing new files.Processing the payroll.Assisting in following up Medicare on any outstanding funding or billing items.Preparing monthly funding statement reconciliations.Processing charges and billing, direct debits and statement runs.Processing corporate credit card acquittals.Preparing the Refund of AR, BOND, RAD and ILU Entry Contributions.Processing payments and remittance advices.Completing financial surveys, insurance forms, compliance returns.Preparing Retirement Village annual financial statements.Maintaining the asset register.Skills and ExperienceEssentialStrong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.Proven ability to calculate, post and manage financial records.Strong time management and ability to deliver on deadlines.Strong communication skills – written and verbal.Strong attention to detail.Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) skills.Intermediate user of financial accounting systems.Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.DesirableExperience in an accounting role.Experience processing Payroll.Experience with Technology One Financials and HRP.Experience in residential aged care and retirement living.What is on offerCompetitive salaryAccess to salary packagingOnsite parking#J-18808-Ljbffr
