About the opportunity:
We are currently looking for a Shift Electrician to work at our Bakery manufacturing site located in Moorebank, Sydney. Reporting to the Site Maintenance Manager, this role will be responsible for the maintenance of all electrical site equipment whilst on shift, attending to breakdowns and ensuring stores are kept updated alongside diagnosing and resolving faults throughout the site.
At Moorebank, we operate a 24-7 bakery which sees us running 12-hour day rosters. We offer a variety of work patterns, with shift penalties, weekend rates and overtime opportunities enhancing the weekly earning potential.
The shift pattern available for this position is on a rotating roster covering the days and hours below:
Week 1 – Sunday to Tuesday: 2:00am to 2:30pm
Week 2 – Sunday to Wednesday: 2:00am to 2:30pm
OTE potential up to $145k per annum.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Carry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility
High level of technical and diagnostic skills including fault finding of electrical circuits and PLC programs
Participate in the repairs and preventive maintenance of all site plant and equipment
Demonstrate and promote safe work practices
Identifying and resolving equipment reliability and improvement opportunities
Work closely with operations personnel to ensure that reliability and safety issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

Electrical Trade Certificate/Licence
Cert 4 Post trade Industrial electronics or higher equivalent preferred
Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
PLC Knowledge essential (Allan Bradley desirable)
Processed based risk assessment skills
Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal and written
