We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Educational Leader to join our team.
Only About Children Northcote is a warm and inviting childcare centre for children to learn, grow and be inspired every day.
The outdoor play areas are built around a beautiful gum tree and provide plenty of space for children to explore, create and lead their own play.
Our children especially enjoy the bike track, the undercover sandpit and helping in the worm farm.
Inside are six age-based spaces, each specifically created to encourage children to learn and grow, with a focus on safety and natural elements.
We love to connect with our local community through excursions and activities that feed into the children's interests and learning, including regular visits to the local park.
Our passionate Educators provide an early learning environment where your child can feel happy, nurtured, stimulated and safe - the best start to life.
About the RoleThe role of the Educational Leader is to inspire, lead, mentor, coach, and guide educators to support in curriculum decision making and to support positive educational outcomes for children.The Educational leader will build the capacity of educators by challenging and extending their practice, theory, and pedagogy.
They will work in partnership with the Campus Director and the wider campus leadership team to deliver a high-quality curriculum ensuring we deliver the best possible outcomes for children.The Educational leader is an integral part of the campus leadership team, whose is stewardship of guiding and implementing the campus philosophy through the curriculum and in alignment with the OAC Grow curriculum and Heart Principles.To be successful in this role, you will need to have: * Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification * Minimum 1-2 years (or equivalent) demonstrated leadership experience as an Ed Leader * Team-based, collaborative approach to your practices * Thorough knowledge and understanding of the required Framework * Ability to communicate and connect with families.
